Sarah Meng MS, LPC, NCC is a mental health therapist with the University of North Georgia.

  • In 2006, Sarah graduated from Agnes Scott College with a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies.
  • After working in cognitive testing at Emory’s neurology clinic, Sarah received her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University.
  • Sarah’s research with the Trans Resilience Project has been published in academic journals and presented at professional conferences. She has been closely involved with Atlanta’s trans* community for over a decade.
  • She co-facilitates a support group, Trans and Friends, which was recognized in 2015 as a Grand Marshal of Atlanta Pride.

 

She is a co-founder of the public art project Tiny Doors ATL and a board member of Georgia Safe Schools Coalition.
